Windows will warn you, and that is expected. You will see
"Windows protected your PC". This installer is not code-signed — a
signing certificate costs a few hundred dollars a year and this is a free app.
Click More info, then Run anyway. If you would rather not, that is
a completely reasonable call.
What you get
13 effect units on one rack — gate, EQ, compressor, de-esser, saturation, doubler, chorus, flanger, echo, reverb, autotune. Seventeen presets including eight vocal templates.
What it needs
Any Windows PC and any mic or interface. It installs for you only, into your own folder — no administrator prompt, nothing touched system-wide.
Installing
- Run the installer
- Click past the SmartScreen warning
- It lands on your Desktop
- Audio stays off until you press the big KARAOKE switch
Licence
GPLv3. The full source ships inside the install as
PaperStKaraoke-v1.0-SOURCE.zip — not a written offer,
the actual source, next to the program.
Feedback back to us. It has been measured to death and heard by almost
nobody. If it sounds wrong, that is the useful report —
